May 10, 2021 For the first time in months in the US, none of the fifty states have registered an increase in cases of Covid, while the majority, 33, report a decline in infections.

The figure is from Johns Hopkins University, which monitors the progress of the pandemic on a daily basis.

On Sunday the positives were 41,057, the lowest since September.



The daily average dropped to 40,873, again the lowest since September.

According to analysts, the data is improving thanks to the increasing number of people vaccinated: 34% of the population, equivalent to more than 114 million people, has completed the therapy, while 46.3%, equivalent to 152 million, has received at least one dose of the vaccine.



The total number of infected people, since the beginning of the pandemic, is 32,708,500, that of the deceased 581,756. The tests carried out were almost 445 million.
