The head of the Ministry of Health of the Omsk region, Alexander Murakhovsky, who disappeared on May 7 in a forest in the Bolsheukovsky district, was found alive.

This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

“The Minister of Health of the Omsk Region, Alexander Murakhovsky, came out to people in the area of the Basly village.

It is in good condition.

Now he is being examined at the hospital of the Bolsheukovsky district, ”TASS quotes the words of a press service representative.

Recall, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on May 7, Alexander Murakhovsky left on an ATV in the forest from a hunting base in the village of Pospelovo, Bolsheukovsky District, Omsk Region.

For about a day, familiar men tried to find him on their own, after which they reported the incident to the police.

A search headquarters was deployed in the area.

Since the search was carried out in difficult terrain with swampy areas, all-terrain vehicles, a helicopter and unmanned aerial vehicles were involved in the operation.

As a result of search activities, on May 9, Murakhovsky's ATV was found 6.5 km from the base.

The regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs previously reported that volunteers from the Liza Alert and Dobrospas detachments, personnel of the local police station, Rosgvardia officers, hunting inspectors and local residents were involved in the search.

According to TASS, about 100 people took part in the search operation.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Omsk region reported that the agency's drones were connected to the search.

"From the EMERCOM of Russia today an unmanned aerial system and two employees will be involved in the search for a person," the press service said.

The day before, the department reported that they had sent ten rescuers to search in two private cars.

On the evening of May 9, a number of media and Telegram channels reported that the missing minister was found alive, but the police denied this information.

“We didn’t find it,” a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Omsk region told TASS.

On the night of May 10, weather conditions worsened in the area: the search operation was hampered by strong gusts of wind, as well as poor visibility due to smog from fires.

On Monday morning, the search resumed.

Meanwhile, a TASS source in the local government said that in the forest where the minister disappeared, local residents saw bears.

“There are hunting lodges in the forest there.

Usually they shoot a bird, there is a lot of it in the swamps, and on the May holidays there is just a small window when it is allowed to hunt.

But they could also hunt a bear, because until the end of May, hunting is allowed in the region.

And in that area, local residents saw bears just ", - he said.

In turn, the participants in the search operation expressed their versions of what happened.

In their opinion, Murakhovsky could run into a tree on an ATV and then get lost 1.5 km from the road.

“Alexander Murakhovsky on his ATV hung on a birch 1.5 km from the road.

It is strange why, knowing this area very well, he could not get out on this road, ”a participant in the search told the SuperOmsk portal.

Another search engine told the ngs55.ru portal that the official had been to the area several times and knew these places.

According to him, before the loss, Murakhovsky drove with his companions to the base, but then they parted.

According to the portal, at the time of the disappearance, the minister was wearing a gray hunting suit, a gray cap and a striped vest.

“He was in a triangle, where there are roads on three sides (and everyone leads to the base).

To the road - 150 m, from there to the base - 6 km.

He ran into the forest, the ATV hung.

The front axle was not turned on, and it was not visible that he was trying to leave.

His footprints went to the side of the road.

Maybe it’s bad, ”- said the participant of the search, adding that the search group did not see any tracks of bears nearby.

Alexander Murakhovsky was appointed head of the Omsk Ministry of Health in November 2020 by the regional governor Alexander Burkov.

Prior to that, he held the position of chief physician of the emergency hospital No. 1 (BSMP-1) in Omsk, and was also the acting chief physician of the city hospital No. 1 named after Kabanov.

Let us remind you that Aleksey Navalny was undergoing treatment in Omsk BSMP # 1 after he fell ill on 20 August on board an airplane flying from Tomsk to Moscow.

During the press conference, Murakhovsky said that the blogger was admitted to the hospital in a coma and the hospital doctors saved his life with great efforts.

He also said that the Berlin clinic "Charite", where Navalny was later transferred, expressed gratitude to the Omsk doctors for saving the blogger's life.
