Mühlhausen (dpa / th) - In a traffic accident in the Unstrut-Hainich district, a motorcyclist had a fatal accident.
The 57-year-old succumbed to his injuries on Sunday afternoon at the scene of the accident, as a police spokeswoman announced on Monday
The man was reportedly on the federal highway 247 in the direction of Mühlhausen.
After overtaking several vehicles, he wanted to get back into the lane, but according to witnesses he turned right off the lane.
Then he drove through a grass verge and collided with a traffic sign and a fence.
