A rescue operation took place in England to return an isolated baby whale to the sea.

On the 9th local time, foreign media such as the British Guardian reported that a baby whale, estimated to be a minke whale, with a length of 3 to 4 meters, was found in the River Thames in London.

The released video features a baby whale trapped in a ship lock and a scene where firefighters spray water using hoses to care for the whale.

The baby whale was first discovered around 2pm on this day, and it is reported that a full-scale rescue operation was in progress from late afternoon while the citizens watched it.

After rescue work was carried out by dawn, the whales were now moved to a safer place, and are expected to return to the sea after inspections for injuries and other factors.

Let’s watch the video together.
