President Moon Jae-in said today (10th) of the former prosecutor general Yoon Seok-yeol, "I think it would be desirable not to say anything because it is recognized as a leading candidate for the next presidential election."

In a question-and-answer with reporters after today's special speech on the 4th anniversary of his inauguration at the Cheongwadae Chunchugwan today, President Moon answered the question, ``How do you evaluate the fact that Yoon, who was described as Prosecutor General of the Moon Jae-in government, was mentioned as an opposition presidential candidate?

President Moon also said that opposition parties are questioning political neutrality over the candidate for prosecutor general Kim Oh-soo.

He added, "To doubt the political orientation when the government changed just because he worked for the Blue House, it was a huge waste of human resources."

President Moon said, "I believe that the prosecution will conduct strict investigations while maintaining political neutrality in the case of political suspicion. Even if we look at various investigations such as the nuclear power plant investigation, it seems that the prosecution is not very scared of the power of the Blue House."
