Over 2,000 cases per day.

Thailand had never experienced such an acceleration of the virus, which had chosen from the start of the health crisis the method of isolation: closed borders, strict quarantines for all new arrivals.

And on the strength of its success, the current government has not really banked on vaccination.

The country does not yet have a defined program, only a few tens of thousands of handpicked people have received injections.

Interprovincial travel is discouraged (mandatory PCR test, or even a fee for fourteen), public places closed, including schools, which are each time the first establishments to close in the event of a risk of an epidemic, family solidarity allowing childcare children are not seen as a major problem.
