The updated situation in Italy and in the world

There are 8,292 new Covid cases registered in the last 24 hours in Italy, down compared to yesterday: the total of infections since the beginning of the pandemic rises to 4,111,210.

There are 139 new deaths: the figure brings the total number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic to 122,833.

This is what emerges from the bulletin of the Ministry of Health.

Hospitalizations in intensive care (-19) and in non-critical areas (-379) are decreasing.

Lazio: 788 new cases and 10 deaths.

300 cases in Rome

"Today out of over 12 thousand swabs in Lazio (-3,915) and over 16 thousand antigenic for a total of over 28 thousand tests, there are 788 positive cases (-211), 10 deaths (-5) and +1,300 cured. cases, deaths, hospitalizations and intensive care. The ratio between positives and swabs is 6%, but if we also consider the antigenic the percentage drops to 2%. The cases in Rome city are at 300 ". This was declared by the councilor for health of the Lazio Region, Alessio D'Amato, who adds: "Anti-covid vaccines: today the quota of 2 million and 315 thousand administrations has been exceeded and more than 755 thousand people have completed the vaccination cycle" .

Piedmont: 592 new cases and 13 deaths

There are 592 new Covid cases recorded in the last 24 hours in Piedmont, equal to 5% of 11,767 swabs performed, of which 4,877 antigenic. Of the 592 new cases, 252 were asymptomatic (42.6%). This was announced by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region. The cases are divided as follows: 83 screenings, 350 case contacts, 159 with ongoing investigation; by area: 5 nursing homes / social welfare structures, 91 schools, 496 general population. On the other hand, 13 deaths reported by the Crisis Unit, 3 of which occurred today. The total is now 11,404 deaths tested positive for the virus, divided as follows: 1,541 Alessandria, 695 Asti, 422 Biella, 1,419 Cuneo, 932 Novara, 5,430 Turin, 506 Vercelli, 365 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 94 residents outside region but died in Piedmont. The remaining 2,520 are under development and territorial assignment. The number of people admitted to intensive care is down at 169 (-7) and in the non-critical area at 1680 (-46). There are 11,648 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 4,552,352 (+11,767), of which 1,542,320 tested negative. The healed patients are a total of 331,122 (+695) divided as follows on a provincial basis: 26,318 Alessandria, 15,928 Asti, 10,018 Biella, 47,596 Cuneo, 25,542 Novara, 177,944 Turin, 12,249 Vercelli, 11,821 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 1,363 extra-regions and 2 .343 under definition.

Sardinia: 54 new infections and 2 deaths

Valle d'Aosta: 8 new positives and no

Friuli Venezia Giulia: 68 new cases and 1 death

Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia on 2,797 molecular swabs 59 new infections have been detected with a positive percentage of 2.11%. In addition, 1,596 rapid antigenic tests have been carried out, from which 9 cases (0.56%) were detected. One death was recorded, while hospitalizations in intensive care units remain stable at 21, while those in the other departments are reduced, which turn out to be 152. Puglia: 646 new positives and 25 deaths

Today in Puglia 8,631 tests for Covid-19 infection were analyzed and 646 positive cases emerged: 229 in the province of Bari, 31 in Brindisi, 108 in the province of Bat, 130 in Foggia, 80 in Leccese, 64 in Taranto , 3 cases of residents outside the region, 1 case of unknown province of residence. There are 25 deaths in the last 24 hours: 2 in the Bari area, 7 in the Brindisi area, 9 in the province of Bat, 2 in the province of Lecce, 4 in that of Taranto, 1 resident outside the region. Since the beginning of the emergency, 2,317,514 tests have been carried out. 192,246 patients are cured and 44,338 are currently positive cases. This is what emerges from the regional bulletin. Tuscany: 713 new infections and 9 deaths

In Tuscany there are 233,249 cases of coronavirus positivity, 713 more than yesterday (696 confirmed with molecular swab and 17 by rapid antigen test). New cases are 0.3% more than the previous day's total. The healed grew by 0.5% and reached 209,414 (89.8% of total cases). There are 9 new deaths: 4 men and 5 women with an average age of 84.6 years. Today, 13,500 molecular swabs and 7,481 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 3.4% were positive. On the other hand, 7,390 subjects were tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular buffer, excluding control swabs), of which 9.6% were positive. The currently positive are 17,453 today, -2.2% compared to yesterday. Emilia Romagna: 650 cases out of 17,114 swabs and 3 deaths

Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, 376,018 cases of positivity have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 650 more than yesterday, out of a total of 17,114 swabs performed in the last 24 hours (9,929 molecular). The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made since yesterday is 3.8%. Of the newly infected, 270 are asymptomatic. Overall, among the new positives 273 were already in isolation at the time of the swab execution, 392 were identified within known outbreaks. The average age of the new positives today is 35.3 years. Of the 270 asymptomatic, 201 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 14 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 17 with serological screenings, 1 through pre-admission tests.An epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 37 cases. The infections in the provinces are distributed as follows: Bologna (150); Reggio Emilia (101); then Modena (98) and Parma (86), then Forli '(45), Cesena and Ravenna (39 each), Rimini (31) Ferrara (29) and finally Piacenza, with 21 new cases and the Imola district (11). As for the total number of people healed, there are 4,975 more than yesterday and they reach 329,654. The active cases, that is the actual patients, to date are 33,354 (-4,328 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, are a total of 31,832 (-4,296), 95.4% of the total number of active cases. Three new deaths:1 in Parma (a 69-year-old man) and 2 in the province of Modena (two men aged 58 and 79). In total, there have been 13,010 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic. There are 187 patients admitted to intensive care (-2 compared to yesterday), 1,335 those in the other Covid departments (-30).

South Tyrol: 73 new cases and no deaths

There are 73 new Covid cases recorded in the last 24 hours in South Tyrol, of which 57 from molecular swabs and 16 from antigen tests for a total of 47,533 since the beginning of the pandemic. This is what emerges from the bulletin of the health authority of the autonomous province of Bolzano. No deaths of people positive for the virus have been recorded in the last 24 hours so the total death toll remains 1,167 since the beginning of the pandemic. On the other hand, 6 patients are hospitalized in intensive care and 29 in hospital with symptoms: 98 more healed than the previous day.
