Waren (dpa / mv) - Two men in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania were chasing the police early on Sunday evening.
At the entrance to Peckatel (Mecklenburg Lake District), the driver managed to bypass roadblocks to the police, as the police announced on Monday.
Later, the car came off the road at excessive speed and drove into a ditch.
The two men known to the police - a 25-year-old and a 22-year-old - were reportedly arrested.
The driver is said to have been under the influence of drugs.
Accordingly, he did not have a driver's license, the car was not approved for traffic and the license plate was stolen.
The two are now being investigated for various crimes.
