Munich (dpa / lby) - After a compulsory break of sometimes months, at least in 13 regions with low corona numbers this Monday: beer gardens open, cinemas open, theaters open - albeit under certain conditions.

In addition, in large parts of Bavaria, elementary schools are allowed to reopen for everyone.

An overview of the rules that apply from Monday:

BEER GARDENS: In counties and urban districts with a stable seven-day incidence below 100, outdoor catering is now allowed to reopen, especially the beer gardens. But one of the restrictions: it must be over at 10 p.m. According to Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (CSU), stable corona numbers mean that there shouldn't be any large swings in the seven-day incidence for about a week and that the trend should rather be falling.

The incidence is said to be below 100 for five days in a row, after which it takes two days to implement, and on the eighth day it can be opened, his ministry clarified over the weekend.

Permits were received for 13 districts and urban districts on Monday, and a 14th on Tuesday.

The people in the state capital Munich have to wait until Wednesday for a freshly tapped light in the beer garden.

For values between 50 and 100 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in a week, guests must book an appointment in advance. In addition, if people from several households sit together at one table, a corona test is mandatory: A negative rapid test that is no longer than 24 hours old or a PCR test that is no longer than 48 hours old must be submitted. These requirements are not applicable for incidence values below 50. Beer gardens, street cafes and cinemas will open on Monday in the following regions: Landsberg am Lech, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Starnberg, Tirschenreuth, Neustadt an der Waldnaab, Amberg-Sulzbach, Kitzingen, Würzburg and Lindau as well as in the independent cities of Passau, Bamberg, Schwabach and Erlangen.

THEATER AND CINEMA: Under the same conditions and requirements, theaters, concert and opera houses and cinemas may also open from Monday - if the Corona numbers in the respective region are stable.

SPORT: In regions with stable Corona numbers below 100, non-contact sports indoors and outdoor contact sports are again permitted from Monday - also combined with a test obligation for all participants, which is no longer applicable if the incidence is below 50.

SCHOOLS: In secondary schools, the previous, stricter limit of 100 for distance teaching will remain until the Whitsun holidays. Primary schools, however, are allowed to offer alternating lessons in all classes from Monday up to a seven-day incidence of 165. The incidence from the Friday of the previous week is no longer decisive. Only if the respective threshold value is not reached on five consecutive days do the corresponding measures apply from the day after next. If a threshold value is exceeded in a district for the first time on Tuesday, a decision can only be made on Saturday how the lessons will be organized on the Monday of the following week (day after next).

The same applies to the 5th and 6th grades at special needs schools.

Exceptions also apply to final grades and fourth graders, who have alternate lessons even with higher numbers.

BODY-RELATED SERVICES: In regions with seven-day incidences below 100, all previously closed body-hugging services can start again from Monday - under the same conditions as they apply to hairdressers and podiatrists (e.g. FFP2 mask requirement).
