China News Agency, Taipei, May 10, Radio "Taroko" 402 train accident occurred in Yilan County on the 10th. A passerby entered the track and was struck by the train and died.

  According to reports from Taiwanese media such as Central News Agency, United News Network, and China Times News Network, the Taiwan Railway Administration reported that the 402 "Taroko" train departed from Shulin Station in New Taipei City to Zhiben Station in Taitung County at 7:11 in the morning. A woman who entered the track was hit at the Jixiang Road level crossing of Dongzheng Line between Toucheng and Jiaoxi in Yilan County.

  The Fire Department of Yilan County Government stated that it went to rescue immediately after receiving the report, but when the paramedics arrived at the scene, the woman was obviously dead.

  The Taiwan Railway Administration stated that due to the impact of the accident, the relevant sections of the road once drove in one-way two-way traffic; at 8:48 in the morning, traffic returned to normal.

  The Taiwan Railway "Taroko" has recently suffered serious casualties.

On April 2, train 408 of the "Taroko" derailed, causing 49 deaths and more than 200 minor and serious injuries.

On April 24, a construction worker crossed the platform illegally and was injured by the collision of the 405 train of the "Taroko".
