Brake (dpa / lni) - A 26-year-old, apparently very drunk driver pushed four cars together when backing up in the Wesermarsch district.
As the police announced on Sunday, the young man was in his SUV when he backed up at the roadside and damaged the four cars, some of them badly.
A police patrol found the 26-year-old nearby and pulled him and his car, which was also damaged, out of traffic.
Two of the four damaged cars were no longer ready to drive and had to be picked up with a tow truck.
The police estimate the damage caused by the accident on Sunday morning at around 33,000 euros.
It investigates the danger to road traffic and the unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident.
