Accelerate your business is a project aimed at women who were born abroad and who run companies in Gävleborg.
In total, the project has come into contact with over 200 companies run by foreign-born women in the county.
Based on them, 15 entrepreneurs have been selected to receive help with business development, mentor support and networking.
- They exist but they may not be seen and heard as much as others, says Mitalee Kotak, project manager and vice president at Hudiksvall's business company that owns the project.
The project is financed by the Gävleborg Region with SEK 1 million and the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth with SEK 4 million.
The project runs for two years and will end in the autumn of 2021.
