This was stated by the leader of the Taliban, Haybatullah Akhundzad, in his message on the occasion of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr, which is celebrated in honor of the end of fasting in the month of Ramadan.

“We view the withdrawal of US and other foreign forces as a good step and urge that all points of the Doha agreement be implemented.

Unfortunately, by now the American side has repeatedly violated the signed agreement and caused enormous human and material damage to civilians, ”RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to Akhundzada, "if America again fails to fulfill its obligations, then the world must testify and hold accountable for all the consequences."

As US President Joe Biden said earlier, the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan will begin on May 1 and end by September 11.

The Taliban warned the United States of the consequences of violating the agreement that was reached in Doha and obliges the Pentagon to withdraw its armed forces from Afghanistan by May 1.
