At present, the main ferry is the largest in Öregrund.

But when needed, another ferry is put in to relieve.

It is the one that is now to be replaced.

From Svea to Svanhild and thus the capacity goes from 22 cars to 40.

Svanhild was built in 1985 and has previously been tough in western Sweden.

When Svanhild's previous route is to have a new, larger, ferry, Öregrund has become the boat's new home.

For the past few weeks, she has been parked on the Gräsö side and is waiting to be put into operation.

- Among other things, the staff needs to be trained in driving it.

We expect it to be up and running in June, says Kenneth Feldt.
