A dramatic accident took place this Saturday at the Oberbronn climbing site in Alsace.

At around 7:30 p.m., help was called after a serious fall.

A 23-year-old man had just fallen from four meters high, the Bas-Rhin Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis) reported in a statement.

Seriously injured, the victim had to be hoisted before being helicoptered by a Dragon 67 device. It was like this that she was taken to the emergency room of the nearest hospital, in Haguenau.
