Bremen (dpa / lni) - A young man has attacked a gas station in Bremen.
The 21-year-old entered the gas station on Saturday afternoon and took a barrel of beer, the police said on Sunday.
He then threatened a 40-year-old employee at the gas station with a long kitchen knife and then escaped.
Police forces arrested the drunk young man, along with his knife and booty, without resistance.
He had previously been noticed by a bus driver and passengers at a bus stop because he had handled the knife.
The “obviously mentally ill” man was forcibly admitted to a psychiatric clinic.
