Parchim (dpa / mv) - Almost two years after filing for bankruptcy for Parchim Airport, there is still no end to the proceedings in sight.

As the office of the insolvency administrator Bettina Schmudde informed the German Press Agency at the request of the German Press Agency, a high double-digit number of investors with various usage concepts did register.

However, the inquiries and discussions on the part of the insolvency administration could not have been further deepened, since the land is not owned by the insolvency estate.

According to the information, the bankruptcy court has not yet initiated the proceedings on the property company's assets.

That is why ongoing discussions with potential buyers would not be effective.

The insolvency administration must continue to wait.

Vehicles are currently being temporarily stored on parts of the airport.

Various companies also use the airport for test drives.

In addition to Baltic Airport Management, three companies at the Schwerin-Parchim regional airport, Baltic Airport Mecklenburg and Germany Linkglobal Logistics, are currently in the process of insolvency proceedings.

The Chinese owner of the airport filed for bankruptcy for the airport operating companies on May 2, 2019.
