Hamburg (dpa) - The handball lynxes Buchholz 08-Rosengarten can continue to hope to remain in the Bundesliga.
The promoted team defeated Bayer Leverkusen's weakened team on Saturday by 31:25 (13:13) and thus pushed past Frisch Auf Göppingen on the relegation spot two game days before the end of the season.
However, Göppingen can regain this rank on Sunday in the home game against the Kurpfalz Bären Ketsch, who are already relegated.
The best HL thrower was Julia Herbst with six hits.
The hosts had already led with three goals around seven minutes before the end.
Then Leverkusen fought their way up to 25:26 again.
But with a subsequent 5-0 run, the lynxes made the hoped-for victory in the fight against relegation perfect.
