Cologne (AP) - The table penultimate 1. FC Cologne can fall back on goalscorer Sebastian Andersson in the third from last season game of the Bundesliga.
The Swede, whose use was on the brink due to persistent knee problems, is in the starting line-up against SC Freiburg.
FC trainer Friedhelm Funkel only made one change compared to the 3-2 win in Augsburg: Kingsley Ehizibue replaced Benno Schmitz on the right after he was suspended.
With the guests, coach Christian Streich made five changes compared to the 3-0 draw on Thursday at Hertha BSC.
It was already announced that goalkeeper Mark Flekken will be in goal for the first time this season after an elbow injury.
Streich also brings Vincenzo Grifo, Nils Petersen, Lukas Kübler and Yannik Keitel for Keven Schlotterbeck, Jonathan Schmid, Baptiste Santamaria and Lucas Höler.
Ex-Cologne Dominique Heintz is absent from the squad due to back problems.
