Just over 280,000 people have received at least one dose of vaccine against Covid-19 in Bas-Rhin, according to the latest figures from the Regional Health Agency (ARS) of Grand-Est, on Friday.

In absolute value, no department in the region displays such a figure.

But the Bas-Rhin is also the department with the youngest and largest population (1,132,000).

Result?

He is not that far ahead since his vaccination coverage finally amounts to 24.8%.

Against 30.6% in the Vosges, or 31.5% in Haute-Marne.

Under these conditions, the vaccination will be accelerated in the coming days.

The Grand-Est has obtained "additional allocations of 53,000 Pfizer and Moderna vaccines," writes the ARS in a press release.

Of these, 14,576 have been allocated to Bas-Rhin, announces the prefecture, which indicates that the slots for getting vaccinated are open for booking on sante.fr.

A new vaccination center

In the department, in addition to doctors and pharmacies, about fifteen vaccination centers are open.

They will be joined this Monday by that of Haras, near the Strasbourg medical faculty.

Supported by the Research Institute against Cancers of the Digestive System (Ircad), it will offer slots from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

The vaccinodrome installed at the hotel in the region is accessible this Sunday and will be available throughout the Ascension weekend, from Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 May.
