Hamburg (dpa / lno) - In an allotment garden near Hamburg's Fuhlsbüttel airport, a fire broke out on Sunday morning, in which a 63-year-old woman was critically injured.
As the police announced, airport employees had become aware of calls for help and had alerted the emergency services.
An arbor was burning on one of the parcels.
The fire brigade rescued the 63-year-old from the burning building, and she was taken to hospital with severe burns.
According to the police and fire brigade, there is a mortal danger.
The fire could then be extinguished and did not spread to other parts of the allotment garden.
The cause of fire was unclear for the moment.
