The defendant did not appear at the criminal court of Mâcon (Saône-et-Loire).

A 41-year-old woman was however sentenced on Friday to six months in prison for harassing a young man for several years, a waiter in an establishment in Lyon.

The facts date back to 2016 when the victim intervened to rescue the client, who had just undergone sexual touching, reports the JSL.

The 40-year-old "fell in love at first sight", she even thought "to be the woman of his life", she explained.

Complaint in 2019

Result: 5,400 calls made in the space of six months in 2019. This prompted the server to file a complaint.

The defendant, however, continued.

8,500 other calls were recorded over a two-month period in 2020. Not to mention the text messages and the number of times she went to the young man's work to see him again.
