- A tornado is a strong whirlwind that is formed under a village cloud, usually when we have strong village clouds with a lot of thunder.
It is not a very common phenomenon in Sweden, but neither is it completely unique, says Nitzan Cohen, who explains that this usually happens in the summer or sometimes a bit into the autumn.
