Stuttgart / Tübingen (dpa) - Bundestag Vice President Claudia Roth has accused the Green Mayor of Tübingen, Boris Palmer, of crossing moral boundaries.
His statements about the former national soccer player Dennis Aogo “are not satire, they are racist and sexist contempt,” said the Green politician to the German press agency on Saturday.

At the request of the base, the Green State Party Congress in Baden-Württemberg should decide on Saturday whether the party should initiate an exclusionary procedure against the Tübingen Mayor Palmer.
Palmer, whose remarks had already caused trouble with his party in the past, repeated a racist and obscene term from a quote attributed to Aogo in a discussion with Facebook users on Friday and commented, obviously ironically: “Aogo is a bad racist . "
As a justification, he referred to an unverified Facebook comment in which it had been claimed without any evidence that Aogo had used the N-word for himself in a sexualized context.
The term N-Wort is used today to describe a racist term used in Germany for black people.
