Kirchlinteln (dpa / lni) - Unknown perpetrators attacked, tied up and robbed a family in Kirchlinteln in the Verden district.
Late on Friday evening, the at least two masked perpetrators had ambushed a 72-year-old, his 15-year-old grandson and his friend of the same age, the police said on Saturday.
They pushed the three into the house and handcuffed them, as did the man's 71-year-old wife.
“With considerable use of force” they had forced the surrender of valuables before the perpetrators left the house after just under an hour and a half.
They managed to escape.
The victims were able to free themselves and call the police.
They received medical care.
A helicopter was also used for the search that night, but the perpetrators were not found.
