The British government of Boris Johnson eases the Covid rules on tourist travel from May 17 with a traffic light system, but the green light for the destinations from which you can return to the Kingdom without quarantine concerns for now only 12 countries and islands, including Portugal , Israel and Gibraltar.

Transport Minister Grant Shapps announced this in a briefing in Downing Street.

For now, most of the countries, including Italy, France and Spain, remain in yellow, with mandatory quarantine.

While the red list (travel ban and repatriation only with quarantine in supervised hotels) is expanding to Turkey, the Maldives and Nepal.
