The reactions condemning the Israeli attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the worshipers in its squares continued on the last Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan, as several Islamic organizations expressed their solidarity with the Palestinians.

On Friday evening, the occupation police attacked worshipers inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and Bab Al-Amud in Jerusalem, leaving 205 injured, according to an unofficial preliminary toll.

For days, tension has prevailed in the holy city, especially the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, which Israel plans to evacuate the homes of a number of its residents for the benefit of settlement associations, amid widespread Arab and international condemnation.

And from Cairo, the Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, said, "Storming the squares of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and violating the sanctities of God through a blatant assault on the faithful worshipers, and before that, the assault with weapons against peaceful demonstrations in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem and the displacement of its people, is a brutal Zionist terrorism in light of a shameful global silence."

In his blogging on his official Facebook page, Sheikh Al-Tayyib added that Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, scholars and students, is in full solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people in the face of the tyranny and tyranny of the Zionist entity, calling on God to preserve them by preserving it, and to support them with his victory, they are the owners of the right, the land and the just cause.

In turn, the International Union of Muslim Scholars called, on Saturday, the Islamic Ummah, for a popular and official gift from inside and outside Palestine, to stop the Israeli attacks on the city of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In a statement signed by the union’s president, Ahmed Raissouni, and its secretary general, Ali Al-Qaradaghi, the union said with great concern the "escalating criminal events by the Israeli occupier towards Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the attack on worshipers with bullets and tear gas canisters."

He called on all leaders of the Arab and Islamic world, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the League of Arab States, and all concerned parties and parties, to the necessity of serious work to take the necessary, resolute and effective measures to stop the escalation of the occupation state against the sanctities.

The Union affirmed that it commemorates the steadfastness of the Jerusalemite people in the face of the repeated attacks against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and against the Jerusalemites in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and calls for a popular and official donation from inside and outside Palestine to support their steadfastness on their land in the face of the occupation's attacks.

He also called on Islamic and Arab countries to take practical steps and not just condemn what is happening in Jerusalem.

For its part, the Palestine Scholars Association condemned the Israeli attacks on worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing them as "barbaric."

The League said - in a statement - that the Palestinians stationed in the squares of the Al-Aqsa Mosque "are now defending with their blood the honor and dignity of all Muslims from the Zionists' desecration of the mosque and the occupied city of Jerusalem."

And she stressed the need for "Arab and Muslim rulers and the international community to move to put pressure on the occupation state to stop its crimes against our Palestinian people and its violations of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque."

In Pakistan, the leader of the Islamic Group, Sirajul Haq, condemned the Israeli attacks against worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He said in a statement, "We strongly condemn the attacks of the Israeli occupation forces against Al-Aqsa Mosque," stressing that the Pakistani people stand shoulder to shoulder with its Palestinian brothers, and praises their sacrifices and courage.

In turn, the Emirati League for Resisting Normalization called for a halt to the normalization agreement between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv in victory for the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.

The association said in a statement posted on Twitter, "The current events in Jerusalem reflect the magnitude of the danger facing the Palestinian cause, and the aspirations of the Zionists there aimed at a complete ethnic cleansing that will pursue the city by evacuating its original inhabitants and deporting all Jerusalemites to other areas."

In Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood condemned the blatant aggression of "Zionist gangs" against Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the attempt to forcibly expel Palestinian families from their homes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem and replace them with settlers.

And it saw, in a statement published on its official website, that what happened on Friday is an extension of the continuous aggression since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Jerusalem with its neighborhoods, streets and gates, at a time when the so-called "Temple Trustees" extremist group mobilizes large numbers of Jewish extremists to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 28th of Ramadan under false pretenses to restore the alleged Temple.

The group called on the International Criminal Court to quickly activate its decision issued on February 5, 2021, to impose its jurisdiction on the Palestinian territories, as the crimes of land grabbing and expulsion of its residents in favor of foreign settlers are increasing.
