The expert from the police's national bomb center said this when she was asked during the trial about what consequences the accident in March could have had - if an explosion had occurred.

50 kilos of explosives

The light truck that the 30-year-old overturned with contained just over 50 kilos of explosives and more than 350 detonators.

In addition, there were tools in the car that flew around in the vehicle in connection with the accident.

There were residential buildings near the accident site and according to the police's housing expert, splinters could have reached these.

The 30-year-old would not have survived if the explosives had exploded.

Influenced by alcohol and drugs

According to the verdict against him, it is not possible to determine exactly how the accident happened - but the fact is that the man was under the influence of both alcohol and drugs at the time.

The 30-year-old who is a resident of Östergötland is now sentenced to three years in prison for violating the law on flammable and explosive goods, minor drug offenses, aggravated drunk driving, illegal driving and infection from a traffic accident site.
