Ruhla (dpa / th) - The Thuringian AfD wants to decide on its list of candidates for the upcoming federal election in September at a party conference today.
It is expected that all previous members of the Bundestag will apply again for promising places on the list at the nomination meeting in Ruhla (Wartburg district).
From party circles it was already heard that Thuringia's AfD party and parliamentary group leader Björn Höcke has no ambitions to run for the Bundestag.
Instead, the AfD member of the Bundestag Stephan Brandner could claim number one again.
The general election is on September 26th.
