The acts of violence and extortion for which six young adults, including three women, are accused took place on February 20 in Strasbourg.

Five suspects were arrested by the departmental security of Bas-Rhin on May 5 at their home in the Eurometropolis.

The sixth was taken from the Mulhouse remand center where he was already serving a sentence, indicates a press release from the DDSP 67.

All were heard under custody and are presented this Friday before the Strasbourg Criminal Court for theft with violence in immediate appearance.

The alleged facts

On February 20, in the afternoon, a 29-year-old Strasbourg man was contacted via Snapchat by one of his acquaintances, a 20-year-old girl who arranged to meet him in the early evening.

She would have made him dangle a naughty evening before driving him in the car.

After having bought and heavily consumed alcohol, the young woman pretended to want to smoke a joint in a quiet place.

They then went to the Baggersee lake car park in Illkirch-Graffenstaden, near Strasbourg.

Where five people waited.

The latter arose before hitting the young man and grabbing his 800 euros, as well as his cell phone, the keys to his apartment and his bank card.

Under threat, he resolved to give out his secret code, but voluntarily gave a false code, the police said.

Ten days of ITT

While part of the group kept him there, the others left the scene and went to an ATM and tried, unsuccessfully, to make a withdrawal.

Then, provided with the keys, they went to his home and searched the entire apartment.

After almost two hours of kidnapping, the attackers finally fled.

According to

the DNA

, they would have paid with their theft for a stay in Cap d'Agde.

The young man was able to stop a vehicle and be driven to hospital before filing a complaint the next morning.

Drunk at the time of the facts, he could not provide any information allowing the identification of the perpetrators except the young woman with whom he had an appointment.

The forensic examination, on the other hand, reported a total incapacity for work (ITT) of ten days.
