She added that donating blood is a voluntary act that helps save lives and is available to every healthy adult person between 18 and 65 years old and weighs no less than 50 kilograms, noting that each unit of blood is separated into many components (red blood cells, Plasma, platelets, cryoprecipitate), so a single person’s donation may save many lives.
