Nuremberg (dpa / lno) - 1. FC Nuremberg will miss a number of players in the away game of the 2nd Bundesliga at Hamburger SV.

Coach Robert Klauß announced this before the game on Monday (8.30 p.m. / Sky) in the Hanseatic city.

In addition to the already known injuries Pascal Köpke, Noel Knothe, Felix Lohkemper, Fabian Nürberger and Manuel Schäffler, Hanno Behrens, Paul-Philipp Besong and Dennis Borkowski will also be out on matchday 32.

A use of defender Georg Margreitter is also still unclear.

Schäffler will no longer play this season because of his inner ligament injury, reported Klauss.

Behrens has to fit because of a feared hairline crack in the metatarsus.

With Borkowski, a wisdom tooth operation is inevitable.

Young striker Besong suffered a ligament injury during training.

«He twisted his neck in a completely harmless situation.

I'm extremely sorry, ”said Klauss.

The injured 20-year-old was “good at it” before that.

After a difficult season, the “Club” had already made a mathematical fix about staying in class.

Now the last three games are about taking the momentum into the summer break and getting motivated to prepare for the next season.

In addition, the FCN wants to make up a few places in the table and thus secure more TV money.

On Monday there will also be a meeting for Klauss with Horst Hrubesch, who is supposed to lift HSV to a promotion place in the season finale.

“I'm really happy to see Horst Hrubesch as a coach on the sidelines,” he said, describing the coaching duel as an “honor and distinction”.
