In a survey, Sydsvenskan was able to reveal that FNL politician Carl Gustaf Jönsson had called on Lund residents to fill in the municipality's survey more than once.

The survey is about the future construction of a congress center.

The politician is said to have done so in a group on social media, even there he writes that he filled in the survey several times to get a more representative sample.

But when SVT Nyheter Skåne talks to Carl Gustaf Jönsson (FNL), he replies that it is not certain that he filled in the survey several times.

- It is free for people to fill in the questionnaire several times if you want.

It is not manipulation and you do not lie.

It is not entirely certain that I have filled in the questionnaire several times, because it is a system error that cannot be trusted.

On Friday, the municipality's dialogue with the residents of Lund ended.

In a survey on the municipality's website, they have been able to comment on three architectural proposals for the future congress facility.

The municipality has decided that no answers will be used as it is difficult to determine which views come from the residents of Lund and which are filled in by Carl Gustaf Jönsson.

- It would have been better if the answers showed the resistance that exists, which I think is great.

But then the answers to the survey do not have any decisive significance for the construction, he says.

Carl Gustav Jönsson has previously been chairman of the culture and leisure committee and political secretary for FNL.

He is currently a member of the City Council and the City Council's Nomination Committee.

Board meeting is expected

The FNL party will discuss the incident.

- We as a party are not behind cheating, it is completely foreign to us.

His actions will be discussed in a board meeting tomorrow.

We within the party have worked very hard with civic influence and something like this does not benefit our positions.

That is why we take this very seriously, says Börje Hed, vice chairman of the building committee.

What will happen next?

- It is the party that nominated him.

The party's board will have a discussion and come to a position, says vice chairman Börje Hed.
