Officer convicted of Floyd's death asks for a retrial

May 07, 2021A federal grand jury indicted former agent Derek Chauvin and his three other former Minneapolis colleagues for violating constitutional rights in the killing of African American George Floyd.
For the crime, Chauvin has already been found guilty of murder while the other three former policemen are awaiting trial for aiding and abetting.
