- You have friends in the same class and then you split up - you might slip apart, says Bill Andersson who is in seventh grade at Hertsöskolan.

Right now, Luleå municipality is working on a plan for what will happen to all students in grades 4-9 at Hertsöskolan and the plan is expected to be ready in May.

Svedjeskolan, which is up to year 3 and is located next to Hertsöskolan, has previously undergone a renovation and the teacher Maria Bramberg hopes that the student groups who now need to move are kept together as much as possible.

- I think you should try to solve it in the best way for the students.

They should not have to change schools and split up.

It will probably be hard not to be able to stay at school, says Maria Bramberg.

Agnes Lindskog, whose older sister is one of the students at Hertsöskolan, still believes that the move can go well.

- They may find new friends at the other schools.
