Potsdam / Berlin (dpa / bb) - In Brandenburg, rules will soon be relaxed for people who have been completely vaccinated and have recovered from Corona.

The red-black-green state government approved the new ordinance of the federal government in the Federal Council on Friday, as the State Chancellery announced.

Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke (SPD) called the easing important and right.

«This means that encroachments on fundamental rights are withdrawn.

It's not about privileges or special rights. "

At the same time, the head of government emphasized: “However, everyone must still adhere to the applicable hygiene and protective measures.

There are no exceptions. "

If the regulation is published quickly in the Federal Law Gazette, the easing could take effect this weekend.

According to the regulation, contact and exit restrictions for those who have been completely vaccinated and those who have recovered will no longer apply.

Vaccinated people no longer have to take a test in shops or at the hairdresser's.

Exit restrictions do not apply to either group.

As a rule, you do not have to be in quarantine after traveling or after contact with infected people - with the exception of infection with a virus variant not yet widespread in Germany or the return journey from a virus variant area.
