Tribsees (dpa / mv) - After a truck accident on the A20 near Tribsees (Vorpommern-Rügen district), the motorway in the direction of Stettin was closed.
A 60-year-old man came off the road with his truck on Friday morning and drove into a ditch, a police spokesman said.
The vehicle loaded with sanitary supplies then lay on its side.
Rescue workers took the slightly injured driver to a hospital.
The cause of the accident was initially unknown.
The salvage work near the Grimme West junction continued in the morning.
