Straubing (dpa / lby) - The Straubing Tigers have signed Cody Lampl from the Adler Mannheim.
The 34-year-old defender from the USA was champion in the German ice hockey league (DEL) in 2019 and should help the Straubingers with his experience.
Lampl is the fourth defender in the Tigers squad for the coming season.
He also has German citizenship.
"I'm extremely hungry and can't wait to get started," he said in a statement on Friday.
For family reasons, too, he decided to play in the more tranquil Straubing in the future.
