Magdeburg (dpa / sa) - In Saxony-Anhalt, the value of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants and week has continued to decline.

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reported a seven-day incidence of 128.9 on Friday, down from 130.8 on Thursday.

The nationwide value also fell further from 129.1 on Thursday to 125.7.

The RKI again reported the lowest seven-day value in Saxony-Anhalt for the state capital Magdeburg, where the number on Friday was 69.0 and thus below 100 for the fifth working day in a row. Rules such as the nocturnal exit restrictions then cease to apply on the day after next.

From Sunday, the rules of the state ordinance can apply again.

The state government wanted to present what it will look like on Friday afternoon.

The city of Magdeburg had also announced further information for Friday.

Magdeburg and the Börde district alone, with an incidence of 94.8, were below the threshold of 100 on Friday. The RKI reported the highest incidences in the state for the Burgenland district with 197.9, the Salzland district with 168.7 and the Saale district with 167. 0.
