Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - In Saarland, the results of the corona rapid tests at schools can now also be recorded digitally: This is made possible by the expansion of the state's own educational cloud “Online School Saarland” (OSS) with a corona test module, said the Saarland Ministry of Education on Friday.

This would not only relieve the schools.

Children and young people could also use the test certificates more easily outside of schools, for example when accessing shops or during club training.

Education Minister Christine Streichert-Clivot (SPD) announced that the new system had already been successfully tested in 30 schools in Saarland in the past few days.

Now it will be brought to over 300 schools across the board that use the OSS.

In addition, there is a new connection between the OSS and the federal corona warning app, which can optionally be used to transmit the test results via QR-Quode.

The federal corona warning app has also been able to display the results of rapid tests for a few days.

At the start, eight partners were connected to the revised system, including the Saarland Ministry of Education and Culture, it said.
