Heidenheim (dpa / lsw) - A pedestrian was hit by a car and a truck in Heidenheim and seriously injured.
The 20-year-old wanted to cross the four-lane road when a driver overtook a truck, the police said on Friday.
As he stepped into the fast lane, he was hit by a 62-year-old driver and thrown back onto the lane in front of the truck.
The 64-year-old could no longer brake and hit the pedestrian.
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the accident on Thursday, both drivers were uninjured.
