A one-stop-shop is created for advice on all energy renovation projects.
Projects going up to the BBC label can now benefit from grants of up to 15,000 euros.
The waiting times for quotes and work are however quite long.
Considering the energy renovation of housing as a “real regional project” for environmental reasons, of course, but also for reasons of “comfort and purchasing power”, Nantes Métropole has decided to strengthen its support system for individuals . The “My Renovation Project” service thus becomes a full-fledged platform, called “Espace FAIRE / Mon Projet Renov”, in the form of a one-stop-shop, announces the community.
Its advisers are accessible free of charge at the Maison de l'Inhabitant *.
They allow owners to sort through the different types of existing aids, offer appropriate technical advice and can, if necessary, issue a list of qualified professionals.
“The follow-up is personalized and now provided by the same advisor,” promises the Alisée association, a partner of Nantes Métropole.
“It is essential to support residents in the face of the diversity and complexity of situations,” explains Johanna Rolland, president of Nantes Métropole.
Up to 15,000 euros to target the BBC
Also on the financial level, the assistance of the community is reinforced. Since April 9, subsidies to owners embarking on work meeting the BBC label (low consumption building) have climbed from 9,000 to 15,000 euros, with, in particular, a bonus of 5,000 euros for insulation with bio-sourced materials. Larger subsidies are given to households with modest incomes. “The BBC, it seems ambitious, it can be scary. But we encourage you to push the cursor that far because it does not necessarily cost much more with the panel of aids offered today. All owners can wonder. Our job is to show them that it is possible, ”explains Marion Gegot, Mon Projet Renov advisor in Nantes Métropole.
These local aid can be combined with the new national aid Ma Prime Rénov 'launched as part of the State recovery plan.
"It is therefore the moment to get started", is convinced Marion Gégot.
Still, it is often necessary to be patient.
Craftsmen are currently extremely in demand in the Nantes area, obtaining a simple estimate sometimes requires several months of waiting.
