Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - For Mother's Day next Sunday, the State Statistical Office of Hesse has compiled some key figures about mothers in the state.
The graphs show that the core family, part-time job, and two children model is not a thing of the past.
In 2019, 619,000 mothers lived with at least one child in the same household.
49 percent had one child, 39 percent two children, 12 percent three or more children.
16 percent of the mothers were single parents.
72 percent of the mothers were employed, but 70 percent worked part-time.
