Paderborn (dpa / lnw) - According to the police, a mentally confused man (37) deflated tires on at least 42 vehicles in Paderborn.
He was taken to a mental hospital.
As the police reported on Friday, the man reported early in the morning to a guard and presented a tally of 48 cars.
The officers ultimately discovered 42 cars with at least two tires missing the air.
In some cases, all four tires were flat, the police said.
The man let the air escape from wooden sticks.
The officers left notes on all affected cars.
It cannot be ruled out that other vehicles are affected.
