This was announced by Deputy Minister of Health Hugo Lopez-Gatell during a press conference, a video of which was posted on Twitter.

“By 9 pm on May 5, 604,065 people had been vaccinated - the highest rate we have achieved in one day,” said Lopez-Gatell.

Earlier, the director of epidemiology of the Ministry of Health of Mexico, Jose Luis Alomia, spoke about the progress of the campaign to vaccinate the population against coronavirus infection.
