Neukloster (dpa / mv) - Because of a gas leak, a shopping market in Neukloster (Northwest Mecklenburg district) was closed for several hours on Friday.
The residents of several houses had to temporarily leave their homes, the police said.
Apparently a gas pipe under the main road was damaged during drilling work.
The road had been closed that morning.
The police expected to be released by noon after the leak had been repaired.
