Hamburg (dpa) - The newly founded European League of Football (ELF) has signed a contract with the National Anti-Doping Agency (Nada).

As the ELF announced, extensive competition controls will be carried out.

"We are very happy that Nada will be at our side from the start with its doping control system and taking over the results management," said ELF managing director Zeljko Karajica.

The establishment of a transparent and consistent anti-doping system from the beginning was out of the question.

In the first season, six German teams as well as one team each from Poland and Spain will start playing in the ELF from June 19.
