In times of pandemics, many seem interested in going out into nature.

The county's nature reserve and national parks offer suitable visitor areas.

But not all visitors behave as they should.

- This was sad to see.

Someone has attacked the tree, perhaps with an ax, says Linda Svensson from the county administrative board when she sees one of the trees in the nature reserve that has been damaged.

In recent weeks, the Österbergsmuren and Skärjån nature reserves as well as Färnebofjärden National Park have been exposed to damage.

Available for everyone

- I am both disappointed and sad that there are some who destroy, says Linda Svensson.

There are 220 nature reserves in Gävleborg and at the same time as Linda Svensson expresses her disappointment over the destruction, she estimates that more people seem to find their way to the reserve.

- This is for all of us, says Linda Svensson before she and a colleague clean up after the destruction and go on to the next nature reserve.

In the clip, we follow when Linda Svensson visits the Österbergsmuren nature reserve.
