Bremen (dpa / lni) - The final in the Bremer Landespokal will not take place as in previous years as part of the nationwide final day of amateurs on May 29th.

The pandemic does not allow the four rounds of the game to be played until a final at the end of May, as FC Oberneuland is currently only allowed to conduct regular training, the Bremen Football Association announced on Friday.

However, those responsible want to continue trying to make a sporting decision possible by the registration deadline for participation in the DFB Cup 2021/2022 on July 1st.

If this does not succeed, the club should be reported to the DFB, which is still represented in the cup at the reporting date and is best placed in the top division.

This would currently be the regional division FC Oberneuland.

The same procedure is planned for women.

If no cup winners can be determined here, the association ATS Buntentor wants to report.
