As of May 6, the facility has confirmed that 37 elderly residents and 22 staff members were infected with the disease. Together with the first two, a total of 61 people were infected. Of the 61 residents, 14 of the elderly residents had worsened symptoms. Unfortunately, died of illness.
It is reported that this facility for the elderly can accommodate up to 44 occupants, and so far the dead have accounted for about 1/3 of the total occupants.
In an interview with Japanese media reporters, this facility said, "It is impossible to answer at this stage."

In an elderly care and health facility in Kobe City, a total of 123 residents and staff were also infected since mid-April, and 13 of them died tragically.
